For this position, individuals need to be -

  • Highly motivated, innovative thinker and leader with at least 10-15 year’s successful sales and sales management experience in business development, and sales marketing for a fast-growing technology-related company and market. Industrial, electronics, automotive or clean technology experience is desirable.
  • Sales background related to technology with the ability to grasp our product technology and its customer applications.
  • BS degree is required and an MBA degree preferred. A major or coursework in engineering or a technical field is a plus.
  • Track record of success in the complex sales cycle with high value products
  • Prior successful management of medium size sales & business development organizations required.
  • Visionary sales leadership and the ability to attract, motivate and deploy a strategic sales force to close and grow sales
  • Hands-on, self-starter able to multi-task between day-to-day tactical execution and high-level strategic thinking.
  • Proven entrepreneurial and out-of-the box thinking ability regarding business development and winning key customers & accounts.
  • Demonstrable record providing provide predictable and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Strong financial management skills to manage a budget, an Income Statement and P&L.
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30% to 60%, and spend considerable time with customers and prospect base.
  • Strong technical product & technology knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including “C” Suite and be able to work cross functionally and influence others through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
