Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, define and structure RES business in Ireland with focus on wind energy. Setup local presence in Ireland in alignment with company standards and coordination with Headquarter. Define and deliver against approved business plan.

Management of the Business with regard to HSE, budget/operating result, leading the team in phase of project development, construction & operation, establishing the company as key player in RES with focus on wind energy onshore business in Ireland.

  • Establishment and leading RES activities in Ireland from strategic and operational point of view
  • Management of local partnerships (JV and/or development/operation partnership)
  • Development detailed business plan to be approved by Management
  • P & L accountability for RES energy business in Ireland
  • Identifying investment opportunities that deliver value to the company's growing renewables portfolio in America and create a sustainable and valuable pipeline of projects
  • Integrating respective assets/co-operation into the existing structure
  • Establishment of local infrastructure, direct report for local staff
  • Steer and define closely with ICW, Strategy and M&A in investment projects
  • Secure efficient operation of assets regarding compliance with permits &licenses as well as sales of energy
  • Initiate and maintain business network to local stakeholders (e.g. business partners, political decision makers, )
  • Act as country representative
  • Coordination with other activities in Ireland
  • Implement HSE policies in line with group standards 

Key Performance Indicators 

  • Delivery of results according to the business plan
  • Secure robust growths in terms of revenues/ operating result, and project pipeline in different stages
  • Achieve FID for wind energy projects
  • Setup of local team and infrastructure

 Main Linkages/Interfaces 

  • Development and maintenance of a strong relationship to enabling functions and ICW  departments is essential
  • Clear definition of deliverables from involved departments (esp. O&M and TE are needed to ensure strong and efficient partnership)
  • Common understanding with Areas of chances and challenges within the respective markets
