Job Description

Our client is looking for a key member of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction team. Based at construction sites and the company offices, the position will cover the main responsibilities:

  • Health and safety, quality control, design review, estimating and budge preparation, purchasing and contract administration, purchasing and contract administration and construction management
  • Support management of on-site construction of solar PV projects
  • Support, plan, schedule and execute the installation of solar PV projects to meet project schedules
  • Prepare equipment and subcontractor Request for Proposal documents
  • Support the PM in the preparation of the EPC construction budget
  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance team
  • Support PM with document control, design review, product literature review and approval
  • Update CPM schedules

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of commercial electrical design and construction practices
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial building systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA Construction Safety Requirements
  • College degree: BS Engineering, Construction Management or physical science
  • Building trades experience
  • NABCEP certification desired or ability and willingness to achieve certification
  • Valid driving licence
  • Safety training
  • First Aid/CPR Training
