Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, customising and maintaining ESRI ArcGIS based web-mapping applications and APIs 
  • Creating and modifying database (includes spatial databases) tables, views, queries and stored procedures for use by applications and the websites
  • ArcGIS servicer administration and maintenance 
  • Creating and modifying Asp.Net based backend web services
  • Creating and maintaining database diagrams and technical documentation
  • Participating in project development and testing as assigned
  • Installing and maintaining a web-based GIS development, test and production environment
  • Researching about new sources/methods of spatial data representation on web-based environments
  • Participating in the assessment and recommendation of development tools and platforms

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years + of software development experience with ArcGIS
  • Experience in creating ArcGIS WebMap applications and services using ASP.NET
  • Experience of administrating and maintaining ArcGIS Servers for web development
  • Experience in WebMap development using HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Experience with spatial as well as non-spatial database design, creating database tables, views, queries and stored procedures
  • Successful track record in website project delivery
  • Strong communication and co-ordination skills
  • Have practical experience of working with version control systems i.e MS Team Foundation Server, GIT

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Prior experience of Agile/Scrum
