We are looking for a Head of Department Solar/Batteries in Corporate Procurement, to join our clients team in Germany. The focus of this work will be the leadership of international procurement for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership of an international procurement team of seven strategic, tactical and operative buyers, purchase volume of around 150 million Euros
• Ensures a sustainable and international Stakeholder Management for strategically relevant and complex procurement segments
• Guarantee an efficient procurement strategy for complex procurement segments with a high volume and high interaction of departments
• Ensure the implementation of the procurement strategy and the realization of defined measures
• Control the strategic supplier relationship management
• Ensure the permanent optimisation of effective procurement processes
• Ensure auditing and compliance demands
• Manage international cross functional projects
• Initiates measures and projects for the optimisation of procurement strategies

Key Requirements:

• Multiannual leadership experience
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement
• Profound knowledge in strategic, tactical and operative procurement
• Good analytical skills
• Advantageous to have a good knowledge of the solar business
• Good project management competence
• University degree in engineering or economic sciences
