Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow strategic supplier relationships. Represent procurement & supply chain with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and executives
  • Help develop and refine supplier relationship management programs and quality improvement processes and programs
  • Lead procurement's sourcing efforts and strategies for business-critical direct commodities (such as solar panels, inverters, racking systems)
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost through negotiations, inventory reductions, process improvement, and other supply-chain related activities
  • Manage supply chain related matters (import of goods, customs, etc.)
  • Manage warranty claims as part of our O&M services
  • Support market entry in new international markets
  • This function will require international traveling

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:

  • Speaks and writes English fluently. 
  • Degree in business administration, law, or similar
  • Min. 5 years of experience, in the areas of procurement or supply chain management (preferably solar)
  • Experience in interpreting, reviewing, and redlining contracts, optimizing commercial terms, and coordinating with legal teams valued
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and self-reliant, goal-oriented approach to his/her work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
