Job Description

Our client, an international energy company, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their exciting workplace with flexible structures and short decision making processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales and energy management customers and distributions through customer visits
  • Independent acquisition and constant stepping-up of new business
  • Regular market analysis, identification of product potentials and cross-selling approaches for existing customers/distributors, development of customised, marketable innovate solutions
  • Calculation and preparation of offers and independent conduct of price negations and contract negotiations with potential customers with high degree orientation
  • Trustworthy advice and support to the customers/distributors in development and development of a new business field, where necessary support in the calculation of the offer and contracting of the sales partners for their end customer business
  • Active participation in the further development of products and internal processes
  • Conduct training and presentations on new products and energy management topics
  • Attend trade fairs and events


Key Requirements:


  • University degree in the fields of business administration, business engineering or engineering or extensive professional further education in the fields of energy management
  • Proven success as a sales/account/key account manager in the sales area of energy trading and/or energy services in small and medium-sized businesses
  • Good knowledge of gas and electricity in the liberalised market, including energy trading
  • Knowledge of the direct marketing of electricity and flexibility of installations would be desirable
  • Fluent in English, French and other foreign language skills are advantageous
