Job Description

Our client is expanding LATAM team and looking for a Project Coordinator for the Project Division of the company, a rapid- growth business unit with global scope and high-added value. This role will be playing a key role in establishing the viability of multi-million USD PV projects for one of the most prestigious solar energy firms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all project development areas on the plant construction: land rights, permits, licences and Authorisations, connection rights and supplier follow up
  • Interacting with all involved local players (developers, authorities, EPCs, utilities, advisors, lenders, investors)
  • Monitoring project development status, leading local project relationships and driving progress of projects
  • Ensure progress reports are accurate and released in a timely manner
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreements)
  • Manage EPC performance
  • Support priorities of other groups including, but not limited to: global engineering procurement, quality, structured finance, module sales group
  • Create and maintain project documentation and handle financial queries
  • Oversee competition of agreements, permitting applications and inspections

 

Key Requirements:

  • Understanding of local regulation in Argentina and all other countries within the region
  • Experience in developing PV projects from scratch
  • Understanding of PV technologies and PV project value chain
  • Degree in related engineering disciplines
  • 3 + years ‘experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Demonstrated track record of connecting PV plants
  • English and Spanish fluently spoken are a must
