Job Description

Our client is looking for as Senior Business Development Manager to help them to establish a sizeable footprint and revenue stream within batteries- ranging from residential applications, medium scale batteries of B2B customers and utility scale batteries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide bOSattery specific knowledge on use cases along the whole electricity value chain
  • Identify and define revenue streams for battery systems in the UK and Ireland
  • Develop and realise project opportunities
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of own investments in battery storages, including all commercial financing and technical consideration, as well as the preparation of investment decision documents
  • Accountable for all battery specific knowledge on use cases and revenue stacks
  • Act as project manager for the construction and commercialisation of battery projects
  • Responsible as asset manager to maximise the result, performance of batteries during commercial operations and to provide input for the development of tools for battery optimisation under dynamic market conditions
  • Negotiate battery related contracts along the entire value chain
  • Drive the qualification process with TSOs and DSOs for specific battery segments in the target markets


Key Requirements:

  • University degree of engineering sciences, natural sciences, economics or in a comparable discipline
  • Proven track record of developing and closing energy related business opportunities
  • Ability to translate strategy into operational activity
  • 6 + years’ professional experience
  • Fluent in English and preferably one additional European language
